I work on the computer when I do it. I'm listening to a dose as I type this for instance. I will tell you though that this stuff gets better with experience, and I'm not sure that those newer to brain wave therapy will get that much out of just listening passively. There's no question that closing your eyes and relaxing, not focusing on the sound per se but just letting the sound enter your brain, is the better way to start out. The other big thing is not to bring any expectations to the session, meaning that you are expecting to feel a certain way, as you will often end up fighting against the effects and blocking what actually is there for you. So the very fact that you are asking this suggests that you are getting frustrated and the key is to work on losing all of that, at which time you will become ready for all of this
