whats the difference between out of body and astral projection?

there is no difference, only that when you leave your body with your light vehicle you at first will be in the astral dimension, a mixture between your own imagination and the real surroundings you know from the real world, only that you can fly and walk through walls...

there are other dimensions to travel too, this one will keep us all busy for awhile

As far as I know, there is no difference. OOBE or out of body experience is same as astral projection. In both cases, the astral body leaves the physical body or rather, the consciousness leaves the body.
