Postby UltimaWarrior » Fri Mar 14, 2008 3:58 pm

Is it true if you drink concentrated caffeine you can trip too? I remember when i was REALLY young i tripped on caffeine (im being serious, i was like 4), is this fact true? Or does it only work on little children?

Also, can you trip on Tobacco? I know you can trip on Alcohol...

You can't trip on alcohol, where the hell did you hear that? You won't trip off concentrated caffeine, you'll feel like total shit though. I already answered you in another thread, follow my advice if you want to trip so badly.

Depends on how sensitive you are to it. My friend gets super sick if he even drinks a caffinated soda. I can take the caffine pills and just perk up for a while. I do get a bit jittery when it first sets in, but thats all.

Your right, its just that anxiety may be such a small side effect (to me) that I dont notice it or I might attribute it to something else.

sorry to get off the subject but when i drink an energy drink, i always crash soon after. is this because of the high amounts of sugar and crash from that, or is it crashing from the caffiene? like would taking caffiene pills not lead to a crash because it doesnt contain any sugar?

Just like speed. You can go on and on forever, but eventually you will crash from exhaustion.

You can't trip off of caffeine... whether your 4 years old or 40...

A little caffeine wakes you up
A lot of caffeine energizes you
Too much caffeine can make you jittery and sick

WAY TO MUCH Caffeine can stop your heart from functioning :D

Caffeine is a good old, tried and true, pick me up... nothing more.

I think you are confusing tripping on alcohol with Absinthe, you are mistaken. Absinthe has wormwood in it, which is a psychoactive chemical. Its that inside absinthe that makes you trip, not the alcohol.

When buying absinthe (not legal in US), make sure you look at the ingredients. If it is spelled "Absinthe" then that is the good stuff. "Absinth" with no E has wormwood in it, but it is a different chemical with similar properties. You can still trip, but not really.

you can too trip off caffeine.

pre requesets:

- amount of caffeine
- natural tolerance
- acquired tolerance
- potency and forms of caffeine
- deliver time
- how much caffeine/ hr
- ALLERGIC Re Action
- amount of caffeinie and duration
* and other factors

I myself have a friend who is allergic to caffeine and will trip out and start hallucinating off 1-2 energy drinks if taken within a small time frame.

Also, caffeine trips are different then those of acid or mushrooms.

Typically one perceives motion that is non existant, hears things that aren't there, and sees "blips" or splotches and lines of color. Also, once you break your personal threshold you will enter a state of mental euphoria which will last up to several hours / days depending if you maintain the correct balance.

WARNING: Some people cannot handle this amount of caffeine and may suffer from one or more of the following; heart attack; anxiety attack; panic attack; shakes; severe aggression; spontaneous anger; depression, suicidal thoughts, etc.

DANGER: After repeated and intensive research I have found that long term abuse can lead to: Paranoia; Psychosis; mental instability; SEVERE Depression; bipolar disorder, and or other mental problems.

Are you serious, YES.

However it is very hard to reach these levels {ususally}. Generally speaking you must maintain levels of 400mg - 800mg+ for no less than 30 days.

Why do these things happen?

- All this caffeine leads to Manic Highs and similar states. When you get off these "highs" / "trips" after extended periods that's when the depresion and other sytems.

Picture it like this:

when your "high" it's like being at an elevation of 10,000 meters or approx. 30,000 feet. When you come off it it's like smashing your face in after free falling from this height.

so if normal happiness = approx 500 feet high

then you can never reach the previous levels without the "drug" caffeine. Thus resulting in sever depression.

Caffeine has been found to cause hallucinations, so I guess, if you call that tripping, then sure. It's quite a bad way to try it though, because all of the other side effects can just make you a freaked out caffeine junkie. It takes a good deal of caffeine to get to the "trip" part of it...about 7 servings of coffee some studies suggest, although I'm sure if you had two or three Jolts, you'd be at the right place.

My friend smoked the contents of a teabag. It was fun to watch. He said it tasted great too. He got a high buzz and had mild hallucinations (deprivacy of oxygen my guess is). He enjoyed it though! We then tried Coffee...

This is where it gets...interesting...

The coffee wasnt the same as tea, it was actually pretty crap. He felt like shit for a few hours, like he hadnt slept for days. Are there any extra chemicals they put in teabags?
